If you want more interaction from Netflix rather than grunting and lazily picking up the controller whenever it’s worried about your health after ten episodes in a row of Flaked (which is no good for anybody), you’re in luck.

The streaming giant today announced its first interactive storytelling episodes, which will allow viewers to choose how the story pans out.

Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile are two shows catered to kids that will allow younglings to decide who to vote for at th–you get to choose who to be friends with.

“You sink into the sofa and fire up Netflix. You settle in to watch everyone’s favorite swashbuckling feline Puss in Boots. You chuckle as Puss in Boots finds himself in the story of Goldilocks with the Three Bears staring at him.

And then… you’re asked to make a choice:

Should these bears be friends of foes?”

A collaborative effort between Netflix, DreamWorks Animation Television, American Greetings Entertainment and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, this new innovation is certainly one worth keeping an eye out for. It makes sense to keep it grounded with something lightweight before they eventually expand and let you decide which of their beloved shows they’re going to kill off next.

If you’re interested, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale should be available to watch (or even play with) right now – no judgement here if you have no kids and are just intrigued. Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile comes next month. Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout comes out next year.
