Need For Speed: Heat Officially Revealed

The Heat is on. Things are getting Heated. Other temperature puns.

NFS Heat

EA and Ghost Games have finally pulled back the curtain on their upcoming Need For Speed game, and it’s not going to be free-to-play like some bearded idiot once suggested. Instead, it’s called Need For Speed: Heat, and you can check out the full trailer below.

As previously revealed, Heat features a heavy focus on both the cops vs racers dynamic, along with the car customisation, with both aspects being shown in the trailer. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear like players can be either cops or racers, so no Hot Pursuit or Rivals remakes here. Heat is its own thing. Here, you’ll try to reach the top of the street racing elite while an overzealous police force attempts to crack down on the scene.

Need For Speed: Heat will be launching on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 8th, though you can play the game early via the EA/Origin Access trials, which start on November 5th. If you want to see some proper gameplay, Heat will be showcased at Gamescom on Monday during the Opening Night Live presentation. Are you excited for Heat? Sound off in the comments.
