Moss Gets Some New Gameplay Footage, Still Looks Adorable

Moss

If, like us, you’ve been waiting patiently for more information about the upcoming PSVR title Moss, today is your lucky day. PlayStation Underground, which unfortunately has nothing to do with the animated series Sonic Underground, uploaded a new video showcasing 15 minutes of new footage of the game, including some unseen levels, content and a couple of platforming fails.

The first game from studio Polyarc, Moss combines platforming with a third person VR perspective to create a truly unique experience. You control the adorable little mouse Quill, who spends her time exploring the ruins of ancient civilizations and smacking bugs around. Quite the packed schedule, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Quill in particular has become somewhat of a star of her own, with a tweet from lead animator Richard Lico showcasing Quill using sign language to communicate with the player going viral. Naturally, hearts melted worldwide and, just for a moment, everything was right with the universe.

Unfortunately, this new footage doesn’t come with the announcement of a release date, but if you’re as taken with the little bundle of joy as we are, you can download some iOS stickers and some mobile background themes, just so you can take Quill with you wherever you go. Yes, I would rather have the game instead, but you have to take the little victories in life.

We got some hands-on time with Moss back in November, and it charmed the socks off a certain VR virgin who typed up this story. Are you excited for this PSVR title? Sound off in the comments below, and check out the gameplay from PlayStation Underground.
