Capcom have finally announced the release date of the long awaited PC port for this year’s smash hit RPG Monster Hunter: World. In a new blog post on Capcom Unity, it’s been confirmed that MH: World will be launching on Steam on August 9th.

Players can pre-order the PC version of the game right now, and doing so will unlock the exclusive Origin Armor Set and Fair Wind Charm for use in-game. They’ve also shown off a new trailer, which showcases the game in action, along with the over 8 million players accolade. Expect that number to skyrocket once the PC version launches and people start modding the Skyrim dragons into the game. Bonus points if they use the Macho Man dragon version.

The blog post also gives you the minimum and recommended specs for your PC, so you better check it out if you’re planning on picking this game up. Some screenshots of the game running on PC also confirm that Monster Hunter: World can run at 4K/60fps. The keyword there is can. More power to you if you have a machine that can pull it off.
