Rumours of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale mode launching next week have begun to circulate again, as a recent leak from the Twitter user @Okami13_ suggests that the mode, titled Warzone, will be launching on Tuesday, March 10th. Previously, @Okami13_ was responsible for leaking the 2v2 Gunfight alpha ahead of its announcement. Check out the tweet below.

If their tweet is to be believed, we’ll be seeing an official trailer for the game by Monday at the latest. Meanwhile, the March 10th release date has been corroborated in the past by reports from the likes of VGC. They also made note of the fact that it’ll be free-to-play with its own separate client, so it would appear there’s a lot of legitimacy to this leak.

As for the “Squads only” leak, Okami was asked about the fact that earlier leaks have shown evidence for solos, duos and trios. In their response Okami stated that things might have changed, but that Squads only was true “as of mid-February”. Are you excited for Modern Warfare’s Warzone mode? Sound off in the comments below.
