Most Metal Gear Soundtracks Now On Spotify

No Metal Gear Solid 2, though.

Konami has just dropped a wide selection of music from the Metal Gear franchise on Spotify. While it’s not an all-encompassing selection, it does cover most of the franchise’s biggest hitters over the years.

Here’s the full selection of everything Metal Gear that’s now officially on Spotify.

Metal Gear 20th Anniversary – Metal Gear Music Selection
Metal Gear 25th Anniversary – Metal Gear Music Selection
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Original Soundtrack Selection)
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Vocal Tracks Selection)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Original Soundtrack)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Extended Soundtrack)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Vocal Tracks)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – The Lost Tapes
Metal Gear Survive (Original Soundtrack)

There are a couple of compilations in the mix, as well as full soundtracks. It’s quite a surprise to see Revengeance included and not Metal Gear Solid 2 in any capacity. As someone who listened to that on repeat in the morning when I was a paperboy, that’s a shame.

Still, bangers like Love Theme, Quiet’s Theme, and (I’m still in a dream) Snake Eater are all included, so there’s lots of weeping and happy memories to listen through. The Extended Soundtrack to Metal Gear Solid V is almost six hours long, just so you know.

Metal Gear means a lot to me, so I will definitely be listening to these while I work. What’s your favourite track?
