Medieval RPG Exzore: The Rising Slashes Onto Kickstarter

Exzore

UK-based developer Tiny Shark launched a Kickstarter campaign for Exzore: The Rising, an action RPG powered by Unreal Engine 4, which promises over sixty hours of gameplay.

In case you missed it earlier, you can have a look at the announcement trailer below.

Despite taking place within a fictitious land, Exzore will not feature any monsters or fantastical races. The developers are instead striving to create something more grounded in reality, so if you were expecting epic dragon battles, you’ve come to the wrong place. Like most RPGs, however, Exzore will feature a large open-world environment, so although there’s no magic, there’s still going to be a ton of places for you to explore.

Combat will also play a large role, with the game’s unique crafting system granting the player the ability to create their own weapons and armour. Best of all, you’ll also have an eagle companion named Icarus who will be able to swoop down and peck at your enemies with his gigantic talons. As you can see from the extended gameplay trailer below, this is certainly not a game which shies away from the more visceral aspects of combat, as large amounts of blood will be on display.

The developers are hoping to raise £50,000, and the Kickstarter campaign still has just over a month left. Should the team hit their goal, Exzore: The Rising will be released on PC and consoles late next year.
