May 2018’s PlayStation Plus Games Available Today

For the first time in what feels like forever, the new PlayStation Plus games will be available at the start of the month. Today marks the day when you can download May 2018’s offerings, which include two lots of wonderfully French weirdness.

The first game might not be for everyone, but it’s certainly interesting. Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls is the kind of strange but oddly captivating storytelling you would come to expect from the guys behind Fahrenheit and features a star turn from Ellen Page. It’s the remaster of the PS3 exclusive, presumably part of this month’s collection to coincide with the release of Detroit: Become Human.

The next game is Rayman Legends: a 2D platformer that is as rewarding as it is a beauty to behold. The Rayman franchise will probably never get the love it deserves, which is a shame — Legends is probably its zenith. It’s not just for kids, either, as our gaming honcho Ashley Bates can attest to. He’s already played through it twice and is looking forward to his fourth foray.

The full list:

Beyond: Two Souls (PS4)
Rayman Legends (PS4)
Risen 3: Titan Lords (PS3)
Eat Them (PS3)
King Oddball (PS Vita)
Furmins (PS Vita)

There’s no definitive time for the new games to drop, but they typically become available at around noon depending on your region. If you have yet to, you might still have some time to snatch up Mad Max and Trackmania Turbo as part of April 2018’s offerings.
