Having played and achieved the Platinum for it (and I am very proud of my accomplishment, thanks for asking), I am almost sad to see the back of Marvel’s Spider-Man, at least until its DLC arrives. I lived and breathed the game for three whole days as I battled a sickness and it was the best comfort imaginable.
For anyone else in the same camp, you’ll be happy to know that a New Game Plus update is on its way. Insomniac haven’t shared the specifics, but it is happening.
yes working on it now and polishing it up!

Similarly to another PS4 exclusive in the form of God of War, Spider-Man will be receiving a post-launch update that will allow players to dive back in to the start of the game with all of the unlocks and gear from a previous playthrough. New Game Plus updates are a great way of keeping players playing and best of all, they’re almost always free.
I’m pretty intrigued to see how the New Game Plus update takes shape for Marvel’s Spider-Man and how it will change the opening in which your “beginner’s” suit becomes torn, as well as the option to choose some of the game’s wackier suits for its most sombre moments.
We reviewed Marvel’s Spider-Man and gave it effusive praise:
“With all the freedom it gives you to web-sling through New York City and stick goons to walls, Spider-Man for PS4 is the best Spider-Story I’ve had the pleasure to experience, and even on its own is a brilliant game.”
