Those who used to own a Game Boy Advance might remember the puzzle game Mario Vs Donkey Kong, which saw the two iconic characters face off after DK ransacked a toy factory. Now, arguably in part due to the success of the recent Mario movie, Nintendo have announced that an updated version of Mario Vs Donkey Kong is making its way to the Nintendo Switch on February 16th, 2024. As an updated version of the GBA release, you can experience the same gameplay and puzzles you enjoyed back in the day, but the Switch release has been improved to include local co-op, meaning you can play through the entire game with a friend. The Switch is probably one of the best consoles out there for couch co-op, and Mario Vs Donkey Kong looks like an excellent addition to that.
