Fans of the Mafia series should be very happy today, as Mafia: Definitive Edition, ironically the last release of the updated trilogy, launches today on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the trailer for yourself below. No seriously, check it out, or we’ll send the boys around to break your legs.

What Is Mafia: Definitive Edition?

A complete overhaul of the first game in the series, Mafia: Definitive Edition will see players take on the role of Tommy Angelo as he’s drawn into the life of organised crime via the Salieri family. Set in Prohibition-era America, you’ll rise through the family ranks as the risks and rewards continue to escalate.

Much like Crash and Spyro remakes, everything you remember from the original game will be present in the Definitive Edition, only with updated gameplay, visuals, voicework and, perhaps best of all, some all new content to boot. If you’re hoping for a decent crime drama to play, Mafia: Definitive Edition should serve you well.

How Much Will Mafia: Definitive Edition Cost?

As a standalone game, Mafia: Definitive Edition will set you back £34.99/$39.99 on all platforms, though you could likely shop around for a slightly better deal. That said, if you’re looking to play the entire Mafia saga, the Mafia Trilogy: Definitive Edition, which includes updated versions of Mafia 2 and 3, will cost £49.99/$59.99.
