Ahead of its mini-series run starting later this month, snippets of Life is Strange: Before the Storm’s have been made available.
British band Daughter have composed the score for the upcoming spin-off, which you can hear a sample of in the video below.
Burn It Down, which was made available yesterday, is one of the songs in the game. Listen to it below in its entirety.
The game’s trailer, which was revealed at E3 2017, also featured a Daughter song: Numbers.
From these early impressions, the score seems to be more of the moody stuff Life Is Strange fans will have become accustomed to. The original game was lauded for many things with its soundtrack being one of them, so here’s hoping Before The Storm delivers in a similar way.
Before the Storm is a three-part mini-series spin-off set before the events of the first game that will revolve around Chloe. It’s likely to whet appetites ahead of the fully-fledged sequel, which is currently in development at Dontnod. BTS is being overseen by Deck Nine Games and published by Square Enix.
Before the Storm’s first episode is set for release on August 31st. Will you be picking it up?
