Like A Dragon character Kazuma Kiryu probably boasts one of the most iconic outfits in all of gaming, with his trademark grey suit with red shirt making the character immediately recognisable to fans the world over. It’s not often that the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio lets us play dress up with Kiryu, adorning him with whatever silly outfits we can find, but Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name isn’t quite like other games in the series. With that in mind, this is how you can customise Kiryu’s appearance in Like A Dragon Gaiden.
In order to play wardrobe dress-up with Kazuma Kiryu, you need to reach The Castle area in Chapter 2 of Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. More specifically, you need to progress through Chapter 2 to the point where Akame sends you back to the Castle once again. The first trip to The Castle is intended to showcase elements of the Coliseum, but once you return later on in the chapter, you’re introduced to more features that The Castle offers.
On your second trip, you’ll be corralled into a shop known as The Boutique, where you’ll be able to purchase a bunch of gear to help you in combat from one vendor, while the other vendor will let you purchase new items of clothing that Kiryu can wear. Players can create outfits for general wear, along with a separate outfit for the Coliseum, meaning you can choose to look normal most of the time, then ridiculous or incredibly stylish while beating people up in the Coliseum.
While buying apparel items from the vendor at The Boutique is the most common way of earning new clothing items, you can also earn more by completing certain story quests or Substories or purchasing them from the Akame Shop.
