It’s fair to say that Dead or Alive 6 is one of our most anticipated games of 2019. Well, certainly one of mine. Jimmy is probably more excited for Days Gone. Anyway, with a day away from Gamescom 2018, Koei Tecmo have revealed that two fan favourite characters will be joining the Dead or Alive 6 roster: Leifang and Hitomi.
Leifang is a master of T’ai Chi, utilising her opponent’s momentum against them with some devastating counters and parries. On the flipside, Hitomi, a renowned Karate expert of German and Japanese descent, balances speed, power and reach to dominate her foes in practically every situation.
Joining those two characters is a new interactive stage. Dubbed Forbidden Fortune, the stage including a pirate ship, barrels of gunpowder and a god damn Kraken. A Kraken, by the way, that’s not above bitch slapping you if you provoke it.
Dead or Alive 6 will be launching on PS4, Xbox One and PC at some point in early 2019. Are you excited for the game? Check out the trailer below, and sound off in the comments.
