The NES set is a continuation of Nintendo’s ongoing collaboration with LEGO, which saw the creation of a LEGO Mario playfigure. The Mario figure plays a part in this new set too, as placing him on top of the TV allows the play-set to come to life with sounds, as you turn the crank on the side to have Mario play a recreation of level 1-1.
The set is now live on the LEGO website for wishlisting, though it will set you back £209.99/$229.99, which isn’t a surprising amount of money for anyone who collects these more intricate LEGO builds. It’s expensive, but it’ll be an important part of any Nintendo/LEGO fan’s collection of memorabilia. Will you be picking up the LEGO NES? Sound off in the comments.
