Last Chance For June 2021’s PlayStation Plus Games

Time's running out.

If you like to live dangerously and haven’t yet added the PlayStation Plus games for June 2021 to your account, today’s your last day to do so.

Thrill seekers who haven’t yet hit “add to library” can snag a new PS5 game and two PS4 games, all of which are playable on Sony’s newest and biggest box.

By virtue of launching as part of Plus and being a next-gen game, Operation: Tango is arguably the marquee offering of the month. A co-op game for the PS5 from Clever Plays, Operation: Tango sees you pairing up with a pal as you try to destroy an evil corporation. If you liked Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes but want something with more action, check it out, especially if you’re after something to take up a lazy afternoon.

Star Wars: Squadrons is probably the second biggest game of the month, and it’s surprisingly brilliant as well. A Star Wars game (what no way) revolving entirely around space battles, Squadrons has a pretty decent single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode where everyone is very good and probably cosplays as Wedge Antilles on the weekends. If you want to zoom around space and make laser noises out of your mouth, slap the add to library button.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown was also added at the start of June, but will actually hang around for a little longer, leaving the service  on August 2nd. That means, technically, there are four games available in July 2021: A Plague Tale: Innocence, Black Ops 4 (more like Bleurgh Ops, right?), WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and VF5.

Bear in mind that while all of these games are “free” as long as you’re subscribed to Plus, you will lose access if your subscription lapses.
