Reports released today per PWInsider suggests that the former WWE Champion, and soon to be Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle is set to return to WWE television on a regular basis – as soon as the post-Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw.

It has been speculated that the Olympic Gold medalist may be returning to WWE ever since his HOF induction was announced, and also as he recently announced that his matches for UK wrestling promotion WCPW would be his last in the United Kingdom (he also performed in Revolution Pro Wrestling in London).

Not only that, but PWInsider adds they believe he is set to return as the new General Manager of Raw, replacing current GM Mick Foley. If this is the case, then it would be a huge shake up for the red brand, and an exciting reason to tune in to their 3-hour program, which is often criticised by fans for being too long.

In a recent Facebook post, the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley stated he would only remain the active GM of Raw so long as he felt he was adding something to the product. With recent on-camera storylines adding more tension between him and Stephanie McMahon, we could be seeing the beginning of the end of Mick Foley’s second run as a General Manager.
