Kojima Productions has shared the first proper(ish) look at OD, their horror game that definitely isn’t P.T. (it kind of is) that’ll be published by Xbox. And, my word: check out those hand animations.
The trailer has a lot of traditional Kojima, some of it so vague that it’s opaque — I can’t ever remember seeing a trailer where information on a piece of paper is blurred out like that.
We get a lot of doors and candles, but then do eventually see Sophia Lillis emoting with every muscle in her face, then some hands on that face, and that’s your lot.
There are some allusions to nuclear power (and, ultimately, disaster) with the ticking of the Geiger counter and the stuff that spreads all over the character’s face, but what it all means is up to theory channels to break down and make nine separate 1-hour long YouTube videos on.
I just hope it actually comes out! Make sure you never delete any demo that may release.
