Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler Confirmed For WWE Super ShowDown

It's 2011 all over again!

As reported earlier today, Dolph Ziggler returned on SmackDown Live and challenged Kofi Kingston to a WWE Championship match. That challenge has since been accepted by the champion, and is scheduled to take place next weekend at WWE Super ShowDown in Jeddah.

Ziggler claimed that he will win and that the fans will show him the same love and admiration that he deserves. Dolph and Kofi’s career have been intertwined since day one, often coming together to feud over the Intercontinental and United States titles during their breakout years.

It’s great to see them both finally bring their chemistry to a main event feud, even if it’s a short-lived one, with Ziggler presumably taking the loss to the dominant champion.

WWE Super ShowDown is shaping up to be an absolutely stacked night of action, featuring the titanic main event between The Undertaker and Goldberg and now this huge WWE title match.
