Dolph Ziggler Returns On SmackDown Live, Attacks Kofi Kingston

The Show-Off is back!

Dolph Ziggler made a dramatic return on last night’s edition of SmackDown Live. In a shocking turn of events, Ziggler attacked Kofi Kingston after his match with Sami Zayn, positioning himself in line for a shot at the WWE Championship.

Ziggler later claimed in a backstage interview that the run Kofi’s current having should have been his. It’s hard to argue that Ziggler’s been owed a shot at the main event title after consistently performing at his peak against the likes of The Miz, Seth Rollins and most recently, Drew McIntyre.

Ziggler has been on a temporary hiatus from the company, focusing on his comedy career in a road-trip across America. It’s great to see Dolph back in the squared circle, and if there’s anyone that he should be paired up with right now, it has to be Kofi Kingston. Ziggler and Kofi have put on some instant classics in the past, so I can only imagine that their main event title match will be more of the same fantastic stuff.
