Jungle Are Back On Tour, Could We Be Seeing New Material Soon?

Brace yourselves, Europe, Jungle are back on tour. The London-based, relentlessly funky duo haven’t toured extensively in almost two years, but it’s been even longer since they brought out any new material. Sure, they’ve put in studio time with other acts, most notably Nao, but not so much as a whisper about a new album after their astonishing 2013 self-titled debut.

Time spent touring certainly isn’t always evidence of new material, but it’s certainly promising. The last time the band went on a large scale tour was back in 2015, and now they’ve booked seven dates across Europe, culminating in a home-ground show at the Electric Brixton. Any assumptions about what this means for the landmark band’s future are just that, but in many cases when a band who have been inactive for a while use tours to showcase what they’ve been working on. Hopefully this will be the case here, but either way, if they’re playing near you, get on it. Here’s the full list of tour dates:

06 Madrid, Joy Eslava
07 Barcelona, Razzmatazz
08 Lausanne, Le Romandie
