Jump Force Digital Sales Ending in February, Online Ending in August

Unlike most of its shonen anime characters, Jump Force is coming to an end.

Bandai Namco’s anime crossover fighting game Jump Force will be leaving online stores on February 7th, 2022 with its online service to end August 24th.

When Jump Force leaves digital storefronts, so too will all of its DLC and digital currency, meaning players should go ahead and buy it while they have the chance.

When the online services for Jump Force are deactivated in August of next year, the following modes and services will likewise deactivate: Logging in to the multiplayer lobby, Online events, Clan functions, Leaderboards, Notice boards, in-game stores, online ranked matches, in-game store, and the premium shop, which will actually shut down early on August 1st, 2022.

Jump Force was never the Smash Bros. of the anime world that Bandai Namco might have hoped it would be, and our own review of the game was less than enthusiastic. Still, Jump Force did have some following and some devoted players, so Bandai Namco’s decision to pull the plug on the game and even remove it from online stores will likely frustrate these fans.

Offline content, non-ranked online matches, and downloadable content that’s already been purchased will still be available to players after these shutdown dates have passed.

Jump Force is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
