Jon Moxley’s NJPW Return Date Confirmed

You make my heart sing!

Jon Moxley

The former IWGP United States Champion, Jon Moxley, will be making his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling on the 16th of April. Having just returned from a brief hiatus, the AEW flag-bearer will be hitting up one of wrestling’s biggest cities, Chicago Illinois, for his big return to NJPW. Mox’s comeback will be featured as part of the NJPW Windy City Riot show, tickets for which go on sale today.

Moxley last competed for NJPW alongside fellow AEW performer, Eddie Kingston, against the team of Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki back in October of last year at the Strong tapings in Philly. Since then, Moxley has been absent from both AEW and NJPW events to battle personal demons.

It’s yet to be confirmed who ‘The Boogeyman’ will be competing against at Windy City Riot, but you can be sure that his inclusion in the show will sell a good amount of tickets and likely be one of the most anticipated moments of the entire show. Here’s hoping for a new dream match for Mox to tick off his bucket list.
