ITV’s World of Sport Announces Some Big Names

World of Sport

ITV’s World of Sport revival continues to gain steam, as the company has been moving forward and announcing members of the show’s revival.

With Stu Bennett (FKA Wade Barrett) being accompanied by SoCal Val and Alex Shane on commentary, the roster is shaping up nicely, boasting some of the best British talent on the circuit today.

Martin Kirby, the former Defiant Wrestling Champion, was announced as the latest signee of the show, joining the likes of Adam Maxted, Joe Hendry, Kay Lee Ray and Davey Boy Smith Jr.

A trailer for the show has also revealed the likes of Grado, Rampage Brown, Bea Priestly, Sha Samuels and even former IWPG Jr Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay.

WOS was a huge British TV institution for many decades and gave rise to many household names of BritWres gone by, such as Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Catweazel and Kendo Nagasaki.

World of Sport will re-debut later this month. It will definitely be interesting to see how they look to compete with the recently announced NXT UK, which begins filming for their show later this month as well.
