Injustice 2 has had a big week, riding pretty comfortably on a wave of hype into the weekend thanks to some character reveals and a promising story trailer.
He’s known for being a bit of a tease, so it should be no surprise that Ed Boon, the head at NetherRealm (who are making the game), just tweeted something out that might take you a second to understand.
A black image with Greek alphabet letters and a gap may not instantly excite, but it really should – it indicates that a beta will be coming soon.

B for beta. There are still a few months to go until the game is released on May 16th for Xbox One and PS4, so it fits within the timeframe to have a beta out before its full release. Of course we didn’t know when the possible beta will arrive, though you can guarantee that there will be plenty of fighting game fans clamouring to be a part of it.
As well as the recently announced Darkseid, Injustice 2 will bring with it the big guns of the DC Universe, and, uh, this guy.
