Impact Wrestling Announce New 24/7 Twitch Streaming Service

As Impact Wrestling carries on through what feels like its 17th rebranding and relaunch of the year, the company have announced a new partnership with Twitch that will see a 24-hour streaming service established.

The channel launches Wednesday, January 17th and is a sign that Impact may finally show some of the promise they’ve threatened to deploy for some time.

After something of a rocky 2017, the company formerly known as Total NonStop Action and Global Force Wrestling has swept the decks clear once again.

With noted wrestling brain Don Callis taking the reins at Impact HQ and Austin Aries becoming their World Champion, the company are now pitching themselves into the world of all-access content streaming.

The partnership with Twitch is a bold and refreshing move and may well capture the interest of fans old and new who may well have moved away from the company after the past few years of poor quality.

Impact Wrestling’s treasure trove is their tape library, and in a press release they were keen to put over who and what we can expect to see on their service.

According to an Impact press release “[p]rogramming for the channel will also include past and present episodes of the flagship IMPACT! show, the original weekly show Xplosion, pay-per-view events on a second window, plus over 1,000 hours of original programming showcasing classic content featuring household industry names like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sting, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and many more.”
