If you’ve been umming and ahhing about subscribing to Humble Monthly to pick up Dark Souls 3 and a handful of other games at a good price, you don’t have long left to make up your mind. One day, in fact.
For $12, you get the already classic Dark Souls 3 and its Ashes of Ariandel for $12. Considering how just the DLC usually goes for roughly that price elsewhere, it’s a pretty good chance to pick up one of the most challenging games there is if you haven’t yet.
As a bonus, you will also immediately receive Overgrowth: the long in the making violent rabbit game. Reception to it has been so-so, but it’s worth finding out for yourself if it’s part of the price. Curiously, it’s a remnant from when Humble started as a developer, so there’s that.
If you aren’t familiar with Humble Monthly, you pay a monthly fee and get a bundle of some big games at far below their RRP. If you pay early, you unlock the “marquee” game for the month. Last month, subscribers received Civ 6 and Owlboy early, as well as Life Is Strange, Tacoma, Black the Fall, Snake Pass, and The Norwood Suite. Best of all: if you cancel your subscription, you can still play the games on Steam, unlike Xbox Game Pass where you are locked out.
