Revolution Pro’s relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling continues to provide us with some of the most exciting imported match-ups on the British indie scene. The annual Summer Sizzler event is coming up and is acting as a pre-show to the NJPW Royal Quest pay-per-view in London. RPW confirmed their huge main-event this morning, pulling together two of Royal Quest’s main events in a star-studded tag team match.
Kazuchika Okada will team with ‘The Ace’ Hiroshi Tanahashi to face Suzuki-Gun in York Hall. The current RPW British Heavyweight Champ, Zack Sabre Jr, and his NJPW mentor will be facing Okada and Tana in respective title matches the following night, so this should prove to be an exciting warm-up.

Also on the card for Summer Sizzler is a clash of career vs company, as David Starr faces Will Ospreay in what promises to be a dramatic conclusion to Starr’s vendetta with RPW promoter, Andy Quildan. Aussie Open will also face off against RPW Tag Champs Josh Bodom and Sha Samuels in the finals of the Road to Royal Quest tournament.
Summer Sizzler is bound to be a fantastic night of wrestling, so make sure if you’re attending Royal Quest to grab yourself tickets to this huge show the night before. Only a few remain, so be quick.
