To celebrate GTA Online’s recent landmark achievement of a record amount of players, Rockstar have announced that they will be giving out a total of GTA$2,000,000Â over the next two weeks.
All you need to do to get this free money for GTA Online is log-in between January 30th and February 5th for GTA$1,000,000 and then again between February 6th and February 12th for a further GTA$1,000,000. The money itself will be deposited into your bank up to 72 hours after playing.
This represents the biggest amount of in-game money Rockstar has given away since the game began. Considering that December saw the most amount of players in the game’s history, which is no mean feat considering it’s been around since 2013.
Elsewhere in GTA Online, you can still connect your Twitch Prime to your Rockstar account to get a Pixel Pete’s Arcade property in Paleto Bay for absolutely free, as well as 80% off the price of the Buckingham Pyro and Rhino Tank, which is on top of other discounts currently available in-game.
Really, GTA$2,000,000 doesn’t get you too far in the game these days with lots of items being on the expensive side, but free money is free money. GTA$2,000,000 can set you up decently as a new player, so it’s not so bad.
GTA Online is available now on PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. You might have heard of it, it (and GTA V by association) is the most successful entertainment product of all time, so there’s likely to be no rush from Rockstar to developer a sequel while the going’s good.
