Horizon: Zero Dawn Will Now Come Out Even Earlier

It seems like only yesterday that we saw our first glimpses of Horizon: Zero Dawn and questioned what the hell was going on.

Game delays are more frequent than a lie from Randy Pitchford’s mouth, but Horizon is one of those rare times when the release date is being brought forward. It will now drop on March 1st 2017 instead of two days later.

Horizon is Guerrilla Games’ new post-apocalyptic open-world game and it looks beautifully barmy. Robots and crossbows are the order of the day: quite a far cry from the futuristic loudness of Killzone that the studio is known for.

The game was initially meant to come out for this year, but as they’re sensible, Sony and Guerrilla decided to push it back so that it could be properly polished.

Excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn? It’s one of the biggest games of 2017, so let’s be measured for once and not let hype get the best of us and ultimately lead us all towards disappointment. Please, internet. Please. Just this one time. Fine, pre-order it, but don’t get mad at us if it isn’t the second coming of Ocarina.
