Sony have started a new trend that might catch on, especially if it involves saving people money. For the second week running, they’re offering players the chance to vote on one of two games that should go on sale for the weekend on PS4.
This week, we have Hitman in the red corner and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in the blue corner. The former will be reduced by a handsome 50% to $30 whereas DB will only get a third off to make it $40. Considering how Hitman has a much broader appeal and is available for cheaper, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see it win by a country mile. People love killing.
Voting’s already open on the PlayStation Blog, so get over there if you want to influence which game comes out on top. As for personal preference, I’ve already spent more than enough time with Hitman and I tried Xenoverse on Xbox One over the weekend. It wasn’t for me, but I can easily see where a lot of love for it comes from.
The winner will be decided on Friday with the voting closing tomorrow (Wednesday).
