Just in case you were wondering where Thor was during Captain America: Civil War, it turns out that he wasn’t sunning himself off in Asgard, but actually Australia. He moved in with Daryl, just a regular guy, and spends his days hanging out with children and making whiteboard theories.
Yes, really.
While You Were Fighting: A Thor Mockumentary will be featured on the Blu-Ray for Captain America: Civil War and also fills in some of the gaps about where Bruce Banner was too. He was in Australia as well, trying to avoid phone calls from Tony Stark to join his team. Thor, on the other hand, was never even invited.
It’s a wonderfully self-aware video which includes references about Thanos never standing up and questions whether Nick Fury’s last name is actually Furry. I had no idea Chris Hemsworth had such great comic timing – they should probably bin whatever ideas they have for Thor: Ragnarok and just turn it into a buddy movie starring Thor and Bruce Banner.
The featured was originally released at SDCC 2016, but now it’s available online. Thor: Ragnarok will be released on November 3rd, 2017.
