After hardly setting the critical world alight with a smattering of 6’s and 7’s, as well as failing to crack the top spot in the UK game charts, Halo Wars 2 doesn’t feel like it’s much of a success so far. It has its fans, but during a highly congested release schedule, that might not be enough.
If you’re willing to be converted, however, a demo for Halo Wars 2 is now available on Xbox One and will also come to Windows 10 at some point in the future.
The demo will include one campaign mission, The Signal, which is also the game’s opener. In addition, players can also try Blitz Firefight using a pre-built deck. Multiplayer wasn’t specified as being available. On a related note, the game didn’t come with ranked multiplayer at launch – that comes later.
I’ve never been much of a Halo fan, though I have a soft spot for a good RTS, so I will be checking this out while I whittle down the hours until Horizon is available here in the UK. How about you?
