It’s a bad time for dudes whose North Star is the biggest game of all time coming out. Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed once again to November 2026, but don’t worry: at least we have Grand Theft Auto 5 to look forward to.
Again!
The cult hit will be making its way back to PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers this November, presumably to help boost subscriber numbers for Sony as they pick up new PS5 owners this Christmas. Rockstar can just keep adding more wild numbers to GTA 5’s total playerbase as well.
That’s the news according to billbil_kun, who has a remarkable track record when it comes to PlayStation subscription news. Here’s a quick reminder of how the Plus tiers work:
The Extra tier of PlayStation Plus gives you all the benefits of the Essential level plus access to a large downloadable game catalogue (PS4 & PS5). In the UK it’s £10.99/month or £99.99/year. In the US it’s $14.99/month or $134.99/year.
The Premium tier adds classic-console games (PS1, PS2, PSP) and cloud streaming, as well as everything in the earlier tiers. The UK price is £13.49/month or £119.99/year, and in the US it costs $17.99/month or $159.99/year. If you just want GTA 5, you should probably buy it outright instead. If your sub lapses, you will lose access to it.
So, yes, GTA 6 getting delayed again is bad news. But the good news is that you get to do that yoga mission again, if you fancy it?
