Grow Up Headlines July 2017’s Xbox Games With Gold

Grow Up

After an excellent June, a more conservative month awaits gamers with the line-up for the free games available through Games With Gold in July.

The headliner, Grow Up, is a neat little platformer from Ubisoft that doesn’t revolutionise anything but is still worth a play nonetheless. It’s the follow-up to Grow Home, though you don’t necessarily need to have played that to get its sequel.

Runbow, which shares some DNA with last month’s Speedrunners, is the other Xbox One title to look out for. It’s a platforming racer that you can enjoy from the 16th of July.

On 360 and available through backwards compatibility comes the game everyone was crying out for: Kane & Lynch 2 from IO Interactive. That’s available only for only half of July while LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean becomes available shortly after.

Thoughts? With the release of Game Pass, could we be seeing less importance placed on GWG? It seems that way.
