‘Groundhog Day’ Has a 24-Hour Marathon on Sky For Groundhog Day

Ever feel like you’re waking up into an endless cycle of doing the same thing over and over again? Well, you might be an SEO, but you also might be Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. I know which one I’d prefer to be.

February 2nd marks the coming of Groundhog Day, a peculiar Pennsylvanian holiday based around weather and a cute animal. The Harold Ramis classic of the same name sees Murray live the same day over and over again until he sorts his life out.

Sensing an opportunity to be hilarious, Sky Comedy have decided that they will be showing Groundhog Day a whopping thirteen times tomorrow.

If you have never seen it, you could do much worse than strapping in for 24 hours to watch it continuously – it’s one of those rare films that doesn’t get old. If you aren’t old (i.e. a child under ten years old) and don’t see the appeal in Groundhog Day, imagine Source Code without a really bad ending and you aren’t far away.
