Gorehounds Rejoice: Here Are Some Horror Flicks Coming to Netflix Next Month

Netflix is pretty good about keeping horror content fresh, though you’re likely to see very little released before 1990 or so. And that’s definitely the case here.

Oculus, a better than average mainstream horror flick. Director Mike Flanagan recently released the Stephen King adaptation Gerald’s Game exclusively on the streaming platform. It will be available on November 1st.

Released the same day is Silent Hill. I’ve only heard terrible things about this video game adaptation, so I might be interested in checking it out just to see what the negative fuss is about if I’m ever feeling particularly masochistic.

Killing Ground will be released on November 7th. The same day, genre label Scream Factory will be releasing the Blu-ray. So it might be worth checking it out on Netflix first to see if you want to purchase a copy. Scream Factory puts a ton of care into their releases, so you really can’t go wrong.

The last notable horror flick coming to Netflix is Piranha, AKA Piranha 3DD. Uh, depending on how your tastes skew, this is either so-bad-it’s-good, or just plain bad. This is another one I might consider checking out since I’m not paying anything extra for it.

So, what do you think? Are you looking forward to any of these flicks? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
