Goldberg Scheduled For Next WWE Event in Saudi Arabia

We will all no doubt share the same opinion on another Saudi event going ahead.

WWE’s grand return to Jeddah is confirmed for Friday the 7th of July. WWE typically pull out all the stops to please the Saudi crowd and this year appears to be no different. Amongst other massive draws such as The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, the semi-retired Goldberg will be making his first appearance since WrestleMania 33.

Nothing has been confirmed yet as to what capacity he’ll appear in, whether it’ll be as part of a match or just to cut a promo and hit Elias with a spear. Either way, this is a big get for the next Saudi show.

Controversy is already brewing after finding a distinct lack of women on the line-up, including one of the biggest names in the company, Becky Lynch. Naturally, the Saudi culture won’t be changing overnight just for a wrestling show, but it wouldn’t shock me if we see another internal boycott.

Regardless, it’ll be great to see Goldberg make another comeback.
