Ghostwire: Tokyo: How To Redeem Pre-Order Content

Ghostwire: Tokyo might not have quite as much extra content as its AAA peers, but it does have pre-order goodies that you can unlock in game in the form of outfits.

Players who pre-order on PS5 can unlock the Hannya and Biker outfits, while those who pre-order on the PC will receive just the Hannya outfit. This is likely down to the partnership deal that Sony and Bethesda struck.

To redeem pre-order content, you shouldn’t have to take any extra steps if you have bought the game digitally as it should automatically be redeemed once you start up the game. If you pre-ordered the game physically on PS5, however, that might be more complicated. Be sure to check your email (including spam folders) or within the postal envelope for a code which you then need to redeem on the PlayStation Store. If you haven’t got a code, check your account with the retailer, as places like Amazon will sometimes add codes within your software library. If there’s still no luck, contact the retailer.

In terms of actually using the content, you need to play an hour or so of the game to unlock the content in the middle of Chapter 2.

To equip your pre-order outfits, go to your character menu (the middle button on the DualSense), Inventory > Clothing. Select the outfit and you should then notice that you’re wearing some new threads. You will need to use photo mode to make the most of your new outfit thanks to the first-person view.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is available on PC and PS5.
