Gears Tactics Coming To Xbox Series X/S On November 10th

Same day as the new consoles.

Gears Tactics

After today’s reveal that the Xbox Series X and Series S would be launching on November 10th, along with the news that EA Play would be offered as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription when the new consoles launch, you’d be forgiven for allowing some other news to slip through the cracks. However, The Coalition would like to announce that Gears Tactics will be heading to Xbox the same day the new consoles arrive.

The news was announced via the rather tame tweet above, which goes to show how much this news could have flown under the radar. For the uninitiated, Gears Tactics is an XCOM-like spin-off/prequel for the Gears of War series, where you control a band of new characters as they attempt to survive against the might of the Locust Horde.

Gears Tactics has been available on PC since earlier this year, with the developers promising that the game would make its way to the Xbox at some point in the future. Turns out, they were just waiting for the next-generation of consoles to launch first. As its a first-party game, you can also enjoy the game as part of your Xbox Game Pass subscription.
