Gearbox have been teasing a new Borderlands game quite heavily for the past couple of weeks, but today, they’ve revealed a new teaser trailer titled Mask of Mayhem that gives us the best look yet at where the series is going for the next instalment. Check out the full trailer below.
The trailer combines characters from the series’ history, such as Claptrap, Mordecai, Sir Hammerlock and many more, along with a couple of new characters. Whether they’re new playable characters, new villains or NPCs remains to be seen. We don’t even know if this will be called Borderlands 3.
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to solve that mystery, as Gearbox’s PAX East panel will take place tomorrow, March 28th at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 6pm UK time. Are you excited to get your hands on a new Borderlands game? Let us know in the comments.
