Gamescom 2015: World of Warcraft: Legion Announced

World of Warcraft: Legion

At this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Blizzard unveiled the next entry into the World of Warcraft saga: World of Warcraft: Legion.

Directly following on from the current expansion – Warlords of Draenor – Legion will allow players to level to 110 in a brand new continent called The Broken Isles. Part of this process will include players finding and upgrading Artifacts – weapons of Warcraft lore that include Ashbringer, Doomhammer and shards of Frostmourne. In conjunction with this, instead of Garrisons, players will establish Class Orders; lead by players and held in thematically appropriate areas. These locations will allow players to access class-specific content and continue to upgrade their new Artifacts.

Finally, Demon Hunters were announced as the latest hero class and will feature both a Tanking and a DPS spec.
