Frictional Games Announce Horror Follow-Up Amnesia: Rebirth

10 years later.

Amnesia

After 10 years since Amnesia: The Dark Descent, developers Frictional Games have announced a sequel in the iconic series. It’s called Amnesia: Rebirth, and it’s scheduled to launch this autumn on PS4 and PC. You can check out the debut trailer below if you like.

Amnesia: Rebirth will put you in the shoes of Tasi Trianon as she explores the Algerian desert. As you’d expect in a creepy psychological horror game, you’ll be hunted down by a creature that feeds on your terror, so don’t expect this to be a walk in the park.

According to the official website, “retracing Tasi’s journey and pulling together the fragments of a shattered past will be the only chance to survive the pitiless horror that threatens to devour you”. It all sounds very ominous, and perfect for anyone looking for their horror fix this year. Personally, I’m too much of a scaredy-cat, but let us know if you’ll be playing Amnesia: Rebirth on PC or PS4 this autumn in the comments below.
