Winterfest

Fortnite‘s Winterfest has returned with a bang for 2021, with not only the cabin coming back but also free rewards and challenges to keep you busy over the festive season.

The Christmas even for this year will follow a similar format to 2019, meaning players will be able to unlock new rewards every day simply for visiting the cabin and also completing challenges. The rewards include a Matrix glider and two free skins along with a whole host of other festive freebies.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s Winterfest 2021, including all of the challenges you can complete and what free stuff you can unlock.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Challenges

Here’s a complete list of all of the challenges coming to Winterfest in Fortnite this year, with one new challenge unlocking every day:

Warm yourself at the Yule log in the Cozy Lodge
Deal Damage to opponents with the Snowball Launcher (50)
Collect toy biplanes at Condo Canyon, Greasy Grove, or Sleepy Sound
Travel while having icy feet (200 meters)
Fly with a chicken
Dance for three second at Crackshot’s Cabin and Sgt Winter’s Workshop
Ram a snowman with a vehicle
Use a Holiday Presents! item
Search a treasure chest under a holiday tree
Eat food in a single match (5)
Hide for ten seconds as a Sneaky Snowman within 25m of an opponent
Light a campfire while having icy feet
Travel 1000 meters on a Crackshot Quadcrasher
Destroy holiday decorations
Give an opponent icy feet with a Chiller Grenade

A lot of these challenges are fairly straightforward, as you can use the unvaulted ice weapons like the Chiller Grenade to complete Travel while having icy feet and Light a campfire while having icy feet, not to mention Give an opponent icy feet with a Chiller Grenade.

Search a treasure chest under a holiday tree is easy, as many buildings across the map will now be equipped with Christmas trees inside, same goes for the holiday decorations that you must destroy.

Meanwhile, Collect toy biplanes at Condo Canyon, Greasy Grove, or Sleepy Sound is easiest if you land at Greasy Grove and Sleepy Sound as they’re POIs and will have higher concentrations of toy biplanes.

Crackshot Quadcrashers can be found at any garage in the snow section of the map.

Cozy Lodge is actually the cabin that was added to the game for Winterfest. You can find it by entering the lodge by clicking the logo from the lobby screen, then selecting the fireplace.

Completing 7 of these challenges will net you the Snowmando Board glider, while completing 10 will unlock the Ffrosty Back Bling.
