With Fortnite Season now in Week 5, we have a host of new challenges, Battle Pass and free to tuck into. These are some of the blandest of the season in truth, simple elim challenges mixed with remixes of the challenges we’ve already seen a few times this season.

Fortnite Season 8 Week 5 Free Challenges
Deal damage with Scoped Weapons to opponents (200) [5 Battle Stars]
A headshot kill with a sniper, basically. Other options include the Scoped AR and Scoped Revolver.
Search chests at Paradise Palms or Shifty Shafts (7) [5 Battle Stars]
I predict this one will be a pain in the ass. The house at Shifty Shafts don’t count, but it will be quieter to land Shifty than Paradise.
Complete a lap of the Race Track in Happy Hamlet (1) [10 Battle Stars]

Get 15 bounces in a single throw with the Bouncy Ball Toy (1) [Battle Pass Stars]
The frozen lake at Greasy Grove may be a good pick to try and complete this challenge in.
Gain Shields from Mushrooms (50) [1 Battle Star]
Dusty is the immediate place that springs to mind for Mushrooms; you will need ten in total. Here’s most of the Mushroom locations for this season. Next two stages: Mini Shields > Full Shields.
Use a Volcano Vent, a zipline, and a vehicle in the same match (3) [10 Battle Stars]
You will probably achieve this through natural play, but you can land anywhere near the volcano to find a Vent and Baller easily.
Eliminate opponents at Pirate Camps (3) [10 Battle Stars]
A bit more situational than most challenges, though the challenge itself should make more people venture to these locations. Here’s where the Pirate Camps are in Fortnite.
