The Fortnite gods have been very kind with content in Season 8, and one item that’s designed almost entirely for content is the Icy Grappler.
Introduced during v18.30 but hotfixed in after the conclusion of Fortnitemares on November 2nd, 2021, the Icy Grappler is a new Exotic item that can only be bought from an NPC on the map. It also doesn’t do any damage and is instead entirely useful for mobility.

Fortnite Season 8: Icy Grappler Stats
“Stick, move, and SLIDE.”
The Icy Grappler isn’t a weapon so it doesn’t have stats in the traditional sense.
However, we can tell you that it works very similarly to the regular Grappler but it also gives you the ice effect on your feet once used, helping you to zip around the map at crazy speeds.
You have infinite uses with the Icy Grappler, but beware: you still suffer fall damage when using it.
Fortnite Season 8: Icy Grappler Location
The Icy Grappler can be bought from Fabio Sparklemane for 400 Gold Bars.
Fabio Sparklemane is located in the Apres Ski Lounge in the southeast of the map on top of a tall mountain.
Walk up to Fabio on the dance floor and parts ways with your Gold Bars to get the Icy Grappler.
