Fortnite: Season 8 has granted us with plenty of new content and weapons to coincide with the spooky season, but we’re also getting a rather ordinary weapon called the Combat Pistol.
Added during v18.30, the Combat Pistol is a semi-automatic weapon that should be pretty strong in the right hands. It’s also one of many “Combat” weapons Epic has added during Season 8 to go alongside the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat SMG (which lost the vote to the former), as well as re-adding the Combat Shotgun for the donation boards.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Combat Pistol in Fortnite: Season 8.
Fortnite Combat Pistol Stats
| Weapon | Combat Pistol |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Common |
| Damage | 23 |
| Magazine Size | 15 |
| Fire Rate | 6.75 |
| Reload Time | 1.54 seconds |
| Weapon | Combat Pistol |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Legendary |
| Damage | 28 |
| Magazine Size | 15 |
| Fire Rate | 6.75 |
| Reload Time | 1.26 seconds |
The Combat Pistol is available from Common to Legendary rarity, with the rarer the Combat Pistol meaning the better the damage to player and reload size.
The Combat Pistol looks like being a solid new addition to Fortnite: Season, a semi-auto pistol that obviously lacks the fire rate of an SMG or automatic weapon but really hits hard if you can land the shots.
Make sure to ADS when using it and hit your fire button as fast and often as possible. If it’s anything like the regular Pistol, the Combat Pistol will tear through enemies if you are accurate and fast with it.
Fortnite Combat Pistol Location
As a weapon that’s available in all regular rarities, the Combat Pistol should be available pretty much everywhere where loot spawns, including on the floor and in chests.
The Combat Pistol was hotfixed into the game on November 9th, 2021 near the end of Season 8 having previously been available in the files.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
