Following the dramatic events of the Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 4 event featuring Galactus, Fortnite is now offline as we build towards Season 5. But how long will the wait be?

Compared to the Black Hole event, which took Fortnite offline for days and made plenty of people think that the game was gone for good, Fortnite won’t be gone for nearly as long this time. Why? Because they have a new season to launch.

As already disclosed by Epic when it came to detailing the Fortnite Crew subscription service, Season 5 will begin on December 2nd, 2020. This means that Fortnite will be offline for almost certainly twelve hours at the very most.

So, what time exactly will Fortnite come back online following the event? Well, most seasons have launched at the same time, every time, but this time it’s different. Fortnite will come back seven hours after the end of the event,

Here’s a breakdown of the times when Fortnite: Season 5 will begin:

– 9AM GMT
– 10 AM CET
– 1AM PST
– 2AM MST
– 3AM CST
– 4AM EST

What this means is that Fortnite will likely be playable after midnight for most players in America and early in the morning for those in Europe. If you’re worried about it being gone for good, just go to bed and wake up to a new season instead.

Until then, you may as well search up on the best controller settings for Fortnite and also figure out if the game is nearly as popular as it once was.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
