In perhaps the least expected bit of Fortnite news in a long time, the X-Men characters Rogue and Gambit will be coming to the Item Shop.

While not the first X-Men to come to the game, with Wolverine, Mystique and more joining in Chapter 2, they do represent two of the most underrated characters in the X-Men canon finally getting some more time in the spotlight. A Gambit movie has been in the works forever, but maybe this will be the kick it needs to get some more momentum, whereas Rogue has been featured in quite a few of the now dormant X-Men movies.

Here’s everything you should know about Rogue and Gambit in Fortnite.

 

Fortnite Rogue and Gambit Skins

Rogue and Gambit  both look like their comic book counterparts, same as the other X-Men in the game.

Here’s Gambit, who typically has a trenchcoat and a pack of cards that he uses as weapons.

Here’s Rogue, whose touch drains people of their life force.

Gambit and Rogue are actually depicted as a couple in a lot of the comics, as you can see below, with them even having their own special run of comics as a team in 2018.

Doubtful we will get a synchronised romance emote, but you never know.

Fortnite Rogue and Gambit Skins Prices

Rogue and Gambit cost 1500 V-Bucks apiece from the Fortnite Item Shop.

Players will also be to snag both skins a bundle that will cost 2100 V-Bucks when bought from the Item Shop. There are also separate gear bundles for the additional cosmetics at discount prices.

 

Fortnite Rogue and Gambit Skins Release Date

Rogue and Gambit will enter the Fortnite Item Shop on February 24th, 2022 and should remain there for at least a week. There’s nothing to suggest that they won’t return after their initial release.
