Fortnite LEGO: How to Share Worlds & Invite Friends

Fortnite Lego

Fortnite LEGO is, for all intents and purposes, a LEGO version of Minecraft within Fortnite. Players can harvest materials and build places to survive, all while in the company of friends. However, it can take a quick minute to figure out how to shared worlds within the game. Worlds are basically your own little slice of Fortnite LEGO that only you can access, unless you give keys to friends.

To share a Fortnite LEGO world, you must first invite a player to join your party, which you can do by pressing up on a controller or tab on a keyboard, and then going all the way right until you reach Players. From here, you can invite anyone from your friends list to join you in your Fortnite LEGO world.

However, your friend will be kicked from your world when you leave the session. So to fix this you need to share a key with them. Simply select their name and then hit “Share Key” for them to now be able to do stuff in your world without you there. You can give out 7 keys in total to friends.

You can also remove key access from them at any time. To actually get rid of them from Fortnite LEGO, you have to kick them from your party; do so by going to Select Profile from the world sharing screen we were on earlier.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
